The Leq’á:mel Transfer Station offers community members and residents a convenient, reliable place to manage household waste, recycling, and other accepted materials. We are committed to promoting responsible waste practices and keeping our community clean, safe, and sustainable.

Rates and Fee Structure 

Household Waste
Members of Leq’á:mel AND NVTP / Kelly / Lakahamen Trailer Park Tenants2 free bags per week or a total of 8 free bags per month; additional bags at $3.00 per bag.
All other Residents

**Please no bags larger than a 30”x 38”, as they will be considered 2 bags**

Garbage Pick-Up Service

Available to Leq’á:mel Members AND Residents who pay rent to Leq’a:mel First Nation $180.00 per year, to be paid every April 1st.

Arrangements can be made with the Leq’á:mel Administration Office.

Pick-up will start at 8:00AM on Mondays.

If Monday is a stat, garbage pick-up will be on Tuesday.
