Thursday – 9:30 am to 5:30 pm
Friday – 9:30 am to 5:30 pm
Saturday – 9:30 am to 5:30 pm
Sunday – 9:30 am to 5:30 pm
Monday – 9:30 am to 5:30 pm

*IMPORTANT UPDATES*

The free store is in the process of being reestablished.

Public Health has informed us that due to the high rate of bed bug infestations we are no longer accepting clothing, cloth furniture, any types of fabrics or books at the free store.  The items will still be accepted at the Waste Transfer Station as part of regular waste, disposal fees may apply.

We are no longer accepting green wood, dimensional lumber, used batteries, tires or drywall.

To help keep our community clean, Leq’á:mel offers area residents the following services Free of Charge:

Rates and Fee Structure

 

Household Waste

Members of Leq’á:mel AND all Leq’á:mel mobile home tenants. 2 free bags per week or a total of 8 free bags per month; additional bags at $2.00 per bag.
All other Residents $2.00 per bag

**Please no bags larger than a 30”x 38”, as they will be considered 2 bags**

 

 

Recycling

Members of Leq’á:mel AND all Leq’á:mel mobile home tenants Unlimited
All other Residents $1.00 per bag

Garbage Pick-Up Service

Available to Leq’á:mel Members AND Residents who pay rent to Leq’a:mel First Nation  $15.00 per month
Arrangements can be made with the Leq’á:mel Administration Office
Pick-up will be between 8:30 am and 9:30 am, Mondays and Fridays
